ABOUT BIG BRIAN'S MEATS

In the pursuit of a lifelong passion for cooking that spans over 4 decades, owner & grillmaster Brian Rodriguez founded Big Brian's Meats in August, 2022 with one goal in mind: to bring high quality, unique handcrafted cuisine to the hearts and appetites of foodies everywhere. After working 15 years in the film & TV industry as an editor, and another 8 years working in public education as a film instructor, including teaching online during the pandemic, Brian decided to take a leap of faith.

 

In June 2022 Brian resigned from public education, cashed out his teaching pension for startup capital, and the foundation was set for Big Brian's Meats to take off. Drawing on inspirations from his Mom's traditional Mexican style cooking, Big Brian's Meats specializes in "BBQ + SoCal Mex Infusion" cuisine and offers many different dishes from traditional smoked BBQ to unique dishes dreamed up in our test kitchen.
